Production has begun!

Mason Cook tweeted yesterday wishing a great first day on the set of 'Spy', revealing another two possible cast members.

SPY is based on a series currently airing in the UK, of the same name, on it's second season. It is a half hour comedy series revolving around a father, Tim (Rob Corddry). His son, Marcus (Mason Cook), is a highly intelligent boy, who is seemingly the opposite to his father, leading Tim to take a job at the Secret Service in order to prove himself as a father.

Erica Elliot (Paget Brewster), is Tim's ex-wife and mother to Marcus. She is described as cold and neurotic, with a long history of being in therapy and taking prescription drugs, leading to Tim having custody of Marcus.

Simeon Goulden will be writing the pilot for ABC and Hatrick Productions, and Helen Williams and Jimmy Mulville will produce the comedy.
